Yolk Recruitment are seeking a Welding Inspector for our client, a leading manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled candidate with a background in welding and quality to be part of a great team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality and precision.

This is what you'll be doing as Welding Inspector:

  • Conducting detailed weld inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Utilising inspection techniques such as Visual, Dye Penetrant (LP), Magnetic Particle (MPI), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
  • Preparing accurate reports, including non-conformance documentation, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues.


What you'll bring to the team as Welding Inspector:

  • Qualifications: CSWIP 3.1 and at least one NDT certification (e.g., Dye Penetrant, MPI, or UT).
  • Experience: Significant experience in quality inspection within a regulated manufacturing or engineering setting (e.g., Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Nuclear).
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of welding processes, possibly gained from hands-on welding experience.
  • Skills: Proactive, methodical, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. You'll have a collaborative and safety-conscious approach.
