Conveyancing Assistant - Pontypool

TSR Legal is proud to be partnering with a reputable local firm based in Pontypool. Our client has a long-standing presence in the community and is known for providing high-quality legal services across a range of areas. Due to continuous growth, they are now looking to expand their team by appointing a Conveyancing Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience or a keen interest in conveyancing to join a supportive and progressive firm. You will be working closely with experienced conveyancers, assisting with all aspects of residential property transactions. For candidates with a property background, this will be a significant advantage, but training and development opportunities are available for those looking to start or further their career in conveyancing.

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will assist fee earners with residential property matters from instruction through to completion. You will manage client communications, ensuring a consistently high standard of client care. Additionally, you will prepare essential documents such as contracts, title deeds, and transfer forms. Part of your role will involve submitting searches, liaising with mortgage lenders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for opening and closing files, conducting regular file reviews, and maintaining accurate records. In this position, you will provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team.

While previous experience in a conveyancing or property-related role is preferred, it is not essential. Strong organisational skills are crucial, as you will be managing a busy workload. Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail are vital to succeed in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected, and familiarity with case management systems would be an advantage. You should be able to work well within a team and remain calm under pressure.
