A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6/7 Physiotherapist to join a community neuro rehabilitation team based on the outskirts of South Wales. This full-time position (open to part-time arrangements) offers the chance to work with an adult population, focusing on neuro rehabilitation in a dynamic community setting. The role is offered as a 3–4-month contract with the potential for extension, depending on service needs and performance.

Hourly Rate: £30-35 per hour (umbrella rate)

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services, assessing and treating patients with neurological conditions in the community. They will be required to work independently, using their expert clinical skills to support individuals in their rehabilitation journey, ensuring optimal outcomes and promoting quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments of adult patients with neurological conditions in the community setting
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans based on evidence-based practice
- Managing a caseload and prioritising patients' rehabilitation needs
- Providing education and training to patients, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Ensuring a high standard of patient care while working in line with organisational policies and procedures
- Offering expert advice and guidance to less experienced staff and students
- Contributing to the development of community rehabilitation programs
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
- Proven experience in neuro rehabilitation, particularly with the adult population
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required for community visits)
- Availability to start ASAP
