We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2 days a week, ideally on Monday and Tuesday. This role involves managing payroll for both permanent and bank staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collating travel allowances and ensuring all relevant data is captured accurately
- Entering payroll data into Excel spreadsheets and maintaining records
- Running payroll for circa 134 permanent staff, with additional payroll for bank staff on an ad-hoc basis
- Managing weekly and monthly payroll cycles
- Ensuring all rates and allowances are accurate before processing
- Handling payroll-related queries from staff in a timely manner
Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Excel for data entry and payroll management
- Experience with Sage 50 Payroll is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
- Prior experience in payroll processing is beneficial
