We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Payroll Assistant to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collating all travel allowances for payroll
- Accurately inputting data into Excel spreadsheets
- Ensuring all payroll entries and rates are correct
- Processing payroll for circa134 permanent staff, plus additional bank staff on an as-needed basis
- Running both weekly and monthly payroll cycles
- Addressing payroll-related queries and resolving any discrepancies
- Supporting the smooth operation of payroll processes with attention to detail and efficiency
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proficiency in Excel - ability to create, manage, and manipulate spreadsheets
- Sage 50 Payroll experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Previous experience in payroll administration preferred
- Excellent communication skills for handling payroll queries
