Quantity Surveyor Position Remuneration

  • Salary: £40k - £55k
  • Salaries are then reviewed on an annual basis
  • Workplace Pension Scheme

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Develop cost estimates and project budgets.
  • Review construction plans and specifications to identify cost-effective solutions.
  • Track project progress and manage costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable pricing.
  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, and valuations.
  • Assess and draft contracts for project needs.
  • Handle AFP (Applications for Payment) and invoicing.
  • Provide project updates and reports to the Commercial Director as required.

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar position.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools.
  • A qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
