Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Pontypridd - Office-based, potential for hybrid working
Salary: 30,000 - 32,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (09:00-17:00)
About Us:
Due to rapid growth, I am looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join my clients team. This role is key to supporting day-to-day finance operations and driving improvements in systems and processes.
The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll manage 2 Accounts Assistants and oversee:
Purchase Ledger: Recording supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments.
Sales Ledger & Credit Control: Issuing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and chasing customer payments.
Other Tasks: Bank reconciliations, fixed asset records, utility bill management, and ad-hoc finance duties.
About You:
3 years experience in a similar role with strong bookkeeping knowledge.
Proficiency in SAGE 50 and/or other accounting systems.
Skilled in Excel and Word, with team management experience (essential).
AAT qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
