The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day financial management of the business, in addition to fulfilling all legal requirements required by external parties such as HMRC and Companies House.This is a varied role and you will be responsible for providing and developing a full system of financial control, reporting, insight and forecasting to the Leadership Team.

Description
- Preparation and control of monthly management information
- Preparation of annual financial statements and management of the year end audit process
- Preparation of VAT, Corporate Tax, and any other local tax returns.
- Preparation and presentation of quarterly board reporting, and other Ad-Hoc reporting as needed.
- Leading with budgeting and forecasting for the company.
- Identifying opportunities for and driving process improvement and efficiencies across all finance activities.
- Liaising and building effective relationships with various stakeholders both internally and externally
- Manage multi-currency transactions and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Director to support strategic financial decisions.
- Provide financial oversight for industrial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA or QBE
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Sound and up to date knowledge of UKGAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent Excel modelling skills
- Multi-Currency experience
- Attention to detail is key
- Excellent communication skills
- Manufacturing experience would be desirable
Job Offer
- An attractive salary package in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 DOE.
