Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant with excellent excel and analytical skills to join a leading Not for Profit organisation based in Pontypridd.

Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager this key role will be responsible for;

  • Undertake financial analysis to support decision making.
  • Manipulating large volumes of data and providing robust narrative behind it
  • Contribute to the development of financial plans and budgets.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external use.
  • Provide financial advice to department heads and management.
  • Monitor financial activities and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Assist in the annual audit process.
  • Participate in financial projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to achieve financial objectives.

Profile

A successful Financial Analyst should have:

  • As a minimum be a Part Qualified Accountant through CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CIPFA
  • Very good excel skills and Financial Modelling skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • A strong attention to detail
