Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant with excellent excel and analytical skills to join a leading Not for Profit organisation based in Pontypridd.
Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager this key role will be responsible for;
- Undertake financial analysis to support decision making.
- Manipulating large volumes of data and providing robust narrative behind it
- Contribute to the development of financial plans and budgets.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external use.
- Provide financial advice to department heads and management.
- Monitor financial activities and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Assist in the annual audit process.
- Participate in financial projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to achieve financial objectives.
Profile
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
- As a minimum be a Part Qualified Accountant through CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CIPFA
- Very good excel skills and Financial Modelling skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- A strong attention to detail
