We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join a dynamic Top 20 firm based in Pontypridd. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the audit process for a portfolio of clients, ensuring that high-quality service is delivered while meeting client expectations. Your role as an Audit Manager:

  • Provide excellent service to a portfolio of clients, ensuring all expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Manage the audit process, ensuring compliance with standard procedures and performing audit file reviews.
  • Ensure all agreed deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct research and prepare proposals for new work, including participating in presentations to prospective clients.
  • Act as a line manager for junior team members, helping to mentor and guide them.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements, both personally and for the team.
  • Represent the firm to clients, focusing on innovation and delivering excellent service.
  • Uphold the company's vision and values in all professional interactions.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You must be ACA/ACCA Qualified with post qualification experience
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring junior team members in a practice environment.
  • Strong understanding of professional regulations and best practices, with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Preferably experience of working with SME's.
  • You will be motivated, eager-to-learn and committed to ongoing professional development as this firm continues to develop and grow.
