Our client in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taff, is seeking dynamic and dedicated qualified teachers to join our growing team. They are a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) providing essential support to young people aged 5-16 who face a range of challenges, including:
Mental health difficulties
- Anxiety
- ASD and Autism
- Neurodiversity
- Physical challenges
- Safeguarding concerns
- Awaiting school placement
- Pregnancy
We offer a unique and varied learning environment, with a focus on individualised support. This role will involve:
- Small group tuition
- SEMH and anxiety support
- 1:1 tuition in the community or at home
We are looking for tutors who:
- Have a strong understanding of the needs of young people with diverse learning styles and challenges.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are highly organised and able to manage their time effectively.
- Are flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of our learners.
- Have a high level of availability - We require tutors who can commit to a significant number of hours, as we have a high demand for support.
