Job Title: Office / Accounts Administrator
Location: PontypriddSalary: Competitive, based on experienceJob Type: Full-time (39 hrs)/ Part-time (preferably a min of 30 hrs over 5 days)
About our client:
A well-established company in the construction industry, committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. My client is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office / Accounts Administrator to join their team and support the smooth running of the office operations.
Job Responsibilities will include the below -
- General office administration, including handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Managing and maintaining company records, filing systems, and office supplies.
- Assisting with financial administration, including processing invoices, managing accounts payable/receivable.
- Preparing and submitting CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) payments.
- Assisting with payroll processing and employee expenses.
- Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Supporting project managers with administrative tasks such as document control and compliance paperwork.
- Ensuring health and safety documentation is up to date.
- Performing any other administrative duties as required.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role within the construction industry (preferred).
- A strong background in accounts administration.
- Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of CIS (desirable but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
