Involve Recruitment are in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Buyer or Trainee Buyer to join our clients team, with a February/March start date.

For Experienced Buyers:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in groundworks, specifically in sourcing and procuring materials such as drainage systems, concrete, and related supplies. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, monitor budgets, and ensure timely delivery of quality materials to meet project needs.

For Trainee Buyers:
This role is also open to enthusiastic individuals currently enrolled in or willing to attend college as part of their development. As a Trainee Buyer, you will assist the procurement team in sourcing materials, learning negotiation skills, and gaining in-depth knowledge of the groundworks industry. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in construction buying with hands-on support and training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective agreements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material deliveries to meet project schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure procurement processes align with project budgets and timelines.

Salary and package will be experience dependent.
