Quick Staff UK, a leading independent recruitment business is pleased to be working with an established manufacturing organisation in the Pontypridd area. The Logistics Administrator will join a busy customer service, shipping and planning department and will primarily be responsible for providing an effective customer service & shipping service to the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Organising and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.• Preparing customs documents• Reviewing, preparing and executing sales orders and invoices• Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.• Monitoring shipments, costs and timelines.• Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.• Liaising and negotiating with logistical suppliers.• Answering customer queries.

Key requirements:

• Experience working within; shipping, freight forwarding, logistics.• ERP system experience required. SAP preferred but not essential.• Strong relationship building skills - customers, colleagues, suppliers.• Excellent IT skills including MS Office Excel.• Ability to work well as part of a team• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Hours of work:8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday
