Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Blue Water Recruitment are a leading privately owned recruitment consultancy that specialise within the Construction and Built Environment sector.

Due to continuing expansionwe currently seek to recruit a trainee recruitment consultant to workfrom our head office in Treforest.

Reporting to the Divisional Manager the role will have the following responsibilities / duties

• Develop long term relationships within main contractors and residential development companies within the Wales and South West Regions via cold calls, client visits and networking events.
• Gain a thorough understanding of client companies including their current and future requirements, hiring processes and culture.
• Attracting candidates by utilising advertisements, social media and head hunting methodology.
• Interviewing potential candidates and the preparation and presentation of shortlists.
• Arranging client interviews and ensuring candidates are thoroughly briefed prior to interviews.
• Negotiation of salary packages with clients and candidates.
• Continually updating CRM system.

Suitable candidates will be confident communicators who have the skills to develop long term relationships with both clients and candidates and will possess recent experience within recruitment ideally within the built environment or technical sector.
