Senior Accounts Assistant

Are you a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant looking for a role with variety in a fast-growth business with global reach? Robert Half are recruiting for a permanent Senior Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic and supportive finance team within a well-established organisation.

The Role:Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Purchase Ledger function and will actively support the processing of monthly payroll. You'll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing key inputs to cashflow modelling and financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions.
• Manage weekly payment runs with precision and timeliness.
• Monitor GRNI and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Support the monthly payroll function in collaboration with HR.
• Provide critical insights into cashflow modelling and financial planning.

Experience and Skills Required:

• AAT Qualified or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience in transactional finance including Purchase Ledger and Payroll.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
• Strong initiative and a "starter-finisher" mentality.

Desirable but Not Essential:

• Experience working on SAP
