Your new school
This school is a mixed 11 - 18 comprehensive school based in Rhondda Cynon Taf with over 900 pupils. The school encourages the pupils to take a proactive and creative approach to learning, allowing them to develop. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling.
Your new role
Starting ASAP, you will be a key part of the dedicated Maths department including full teaching responsibilities such as:
- Teach KS3 - KS4
- Nurture a range of learning abilities
- Staff meetings
- Parents evenings,
- Pastoral responsibilities,
- Planning and preparation of lessons
- Marking and assessment.
This is your chance to put your mark on a school and implement success through your teaching.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of teaching Maths in a secondary school.
- Qualified teaching Status or PCET with Maths experience.
- Proven track record of helping students.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council.
- Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
