Our client is seeking a skilled Telecoms Maintenance Technician (CCTV, PA, Access Control) to join a team of engineers running a long-term railway station maintenance contract covering the South Wales Valleys areas.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on various communication systems
  • Handle call-outs and be available for on-call duties
  • Fault-finding
  • Maintain and install analogue and IP networked communications systems, including CCTV, CAT5/CAT6 display screens, and copper networks


Job Requirements:

  • Ideally based in the South Wales Valleys
  • Background in CCTV, Fire & Security, SISS, VSS, display screens (analogue and digital), data networks, fibre, copper, CATV/CAT6
  • Experience in maintenance or installation of communications systems and infrastructure
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous railway experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Willingness to undergo a Railway Medical and Drug & Alcohol test, as well as a DBS check
