Our client, an established, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Audit Senior to join their team in Poole, Dorset.

You will be responsible for audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients, from planning through to completion.

Duties include:-

  • Audit work on a mixed portfolio of clients
  • Planning and completion of audit assignments on site and at client premises
  • Preparing statutory financial statements from client data and recognising high level risk areas, reporting to the Partner/Manager
  • Finalising audit assignments for Manager/Partner review
  • Coaching and supporting junior staff where required

They are ideally looking for someone with previous practice experience of at least 3 years, with a good technical knowledge of audit and IFRS/UKGAAP. You will also preferably hold a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA, although study support will be offered if required. Excellent communication and organisational skills are also desirable.
