Audit Senior Job Vacancy

We are delighted to be representing a contemporary international accountancy firm in their search for an Audit Senior in Poole to join their modern team and support the Audit Manager with the provision of audit for a portfolio of exciting clients.

This opportunity will suit someone who is ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified, with audit experience within an accountancy practice. You will be able to effectively communicate technical matters in an easy-to-understand way for clients and an elevated level of attention to detail will also be essential for this role. Much of this role will be in the field, overseeing the audit process at client premises.

You’ll likely be working already as a Semi Senior looking for an exciting new challenge. Ideally, you’ll have experience of supporting and mentoring junior members of the team. You’ll be ready to support the managers in creating a positive working environment, whilst ensuring the highest quality service is delivered. You’ll be able to accept autonomous responsibility to oversee projects to completion.

Job Purpose

  • Manage audits from planning to completion.
  • Prepare and review general accounts.
  • Support the Audit Managers to coach trainees?and support with their learning and development.
  • Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met.
  • Monitor workflow of the team.
  • Identify and assess risk.
  • Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team and other sectors of the firm and support with company growth.
  • Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
  • Confident in networking to promote the department.
  • Playing an integral part in the efficiency of the audit team and championing the firm’s values within the team.
  • Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills.
