You will be working for a leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisers operating across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics, a UK Top 10 accountancy firm who are the number one largest SME practice.
As a Business Advisory Senior, you will be required to begin to take ownership of your own portfolio with support from your manager, support the team in delivering revenue and profitability targets and begin to develop enduring client relationships. On a daily basis, you will be working to produce more complex annual statutory accounts for clients while starting to offer advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review; providing support to your clients from an accounting perspective; working with more junior team members as a mentor to answer day to day queries and guide their journey; working both autonomously and as part of a team and supporting junior members of staff; ensuring high levels of communication are maintained with staff, line manager and clients; completing your own chargeable time budget whilst being aware of expected utilisation % budgets and working towards delivering this.
It is likely that you will be ACA/ACCA/CA newly qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in a similar role, ideally within another accountancy practice. Your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development such as more effective client management and also steps towards staff management.
