Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a successful and well-known business to recruit a Financial Systems Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract.This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative finance environment, supporting key financial reporting processes and system integrations.  Hybrid working arrangement with a requirement to be in the office once a week.This position will play a vital role in assisting the Project Accountant with budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring data accuracy across multiple entities. You will also provide key support in troubleshooting system issues and contributing to statutory reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and upload of budgets and actuals into the group reporting software.
  • Support the integration of a new financial system within the budgeting tool.
  • Help prepare statutory accounts and year-end reporting schedules.
  • Assist in the consolidation of group financial reports
  • Provide support in maintaining and troubleshooting the finance reporting and budgeting system
  • Assist with fixed asset reporting
  • Work closely with the financial reporting team to meet external audit and statutory reporting requirements.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Part or fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) is desirable.
  • Relevant finance experience, including financial reporting, management accounting, and budgeting.
  • Strong IT and Excel skills
  • A problem-solving mindset
