Sheridan Maine are currently managing the recruitment of a Management Accountant for a well-established business based in West Dorset. This exciting role is within a division of a larger group, offering the opportunity to become a trusted business partner and team leader, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.As a Senior Management Accountant, you will lead, manage, and motivate a small team, with your primary responsibilities including:

Overseeing and producing monthly management accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Assisting with cash-flow preparation and analysis
Monitoring and reporting on the performance of your division
Reconciling divisional costs to provide accurate cash-flow forecasts
Supporting the development of financial reporting
Reviewing project appraisals and analysing financial performance for commercial and development activities
Ensuring financial records are accurately reflected in the accounting systems

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with the following skills and experience:

Expertise in statutory and management accounting, with the ability to analyse, interpret, and present financial information clearly
Management accounting and budgeting experience, including the provision of reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders
A highly motivated and dedicated attitude, with the ability to provide excellent business partnering
Knowledge of VAT taxation
Strong team leadership and communication skills
