Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, ensuring all reporting deadlines are consistently met.
Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Partner with budget holders across the business to provide financial insights and support.
Manage, mentor, and support the Assistant Management Accountant, fostering their growth and development.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, journal processing, and variance analysis.
Conduct detailed reporting and analytical tasks to inform decision-making.

Key skills and experience of the Management Accountant:

Part-qualified, fully qualified, or actively studying towards a recognized accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in analysing, interpreting, and presenting financial data clearly and concisely.
Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Advanced Excel skills and a strong grasp of financial systems.
