- Credit control management - monitoring customer accounts, chasing overdue payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining positive client relationships
- Purchase ledger processing - logging and processing supplier invoices, preparing payment runs, and reconciling supplier statements
- Daily invoicing and banking - generating customer invoices, recording payments, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining accurate financial records
- General accounts administration - filing important documents, responding to account queries, assisting with month-end procedures, and supporting the wider finance team as needed
- Liaising between departments to ensure accurate financial information flows across the business
- GCSE or equivalent qualifications (required)
- Previous accounts experience (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Sage 200 experience helpful but not essential – full training provided
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Positive "can do" attitude with ability to build and maintain relationships
- £24,000 per year plus quarterly bonus
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
