Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant:
  • Investigate and resolve accounts payable queries efficiently
  • Prepare and manage the weekly payment run
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing ones
  • Oversee supplier payments and ensure timely processing
  • Handle card payments and employee expenses
  • Report monthly and annual expenditure to department heads
  • Provide essential support to the wider finance team
