Job Title: P.E Cover Supervisor

Are you a passionate and adaptable individual with a love for sports and outdoor activities? We are seeking a P.E Cover Supervisor to join our team, playing a key role in delivering physical education and general cover lessons across the school.
About the Role:
As a P.E Cover Supervisor, you will support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, ensuring they remain engaged and active. While your primary responsibility will be delivering and supervising P.E lessons, you will also be required to provide general classroom cover across various subjects when needed.
Many SEN schools are expanding their focus on outdoor activities to promote physical health, teamwork, and confidence in their students. You will be supporting this initiative, helping to develop outdoor learning opportunities and ensuring students benefit from a well-rounded and engaging physical education experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and supervise P.E lessons and sports activities, encouraging engagement with all students
- Provide general classroom cover across different subjects when required.
- Support the development of outdoor learning and activity programmes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to tailor physical activities to meet student's needs.
- Encourage teamwork, resilience, and confidence through structured physical education.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated.
About You:
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably within an SEN or SEMH setting.
- A strong interest in sports, physical education, and outdoor activities.
- The ability to engage and inspire students through creative and adaptive teaching strategies.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
