Design Engineer Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic systems for electromechanical control under software management.
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Write and edit software code for PCBs and PLCs, including IoT-capable systems.
- Develop and implement test procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage documentation for all electronic systems to support sourcing and quality control.
Skills & Experience Required
- HND/Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical/electronic design engineering.
- Proficiency in PLCs, HMI, SCADA software, and industrial networks (CANBUS).
- Strong skills in PCB design, circuit design (analogue & digital), and debugging.
- Knowledge of EMC/LVD & UL regulations and experience with fault finding and root cause analysis.
