Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to champion product and process quality at an operational level. The ideal candidate will work within the manufacturing team to reduce the cost of poor quality, drive continuous improvement, and ensure ISO9001 requirements across the business. This role also involves promoting a quality awareness culture company wideand assisting with internal auditing programs.
Responsibilities for Quality Engineer
- Provide proactive and thorough quality support within the manufacturing team
- Assist in completing internal auditing programs
- Drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 requirements
- Promote a culture of quality awareness across the organisation
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
- Support the Quality Inspection team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives and targets
Qualifications for Quality Engineer
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Competent in project processes, process flow mapping, and control plans
- Internal auditing experience
- Understanding and experience using Lean Management tools
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
