Quality Engineer

Shift: 4 days a week Monday-Thursday 7am to 5pm with Fridays off

Rate:40,000 - 45,000 p/a

Location: Poole, Dorset

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Managing customer returns & quality clinics in accordance with Company procedures, Customer requirements & to the defined time restraints.
  • Customer liaison in respect of customer returns & Root Cause Corrective Action.
  • Supporting internal and external auditing activities.
  • Maintaining the Quality Management System.
  • Initiating, managing and documenting all corrective actions to ensure preventative action is effective and production management is not compromised.
  • Ensuring internal & external non-conformity is communicated to the production staff & customer in a timely manner.
  • Being the main point of contact for customers on non-conformity.
  • Ensuring correct practise, legalities and responsibilities in respect of the Quality System, Health & Safety system and Environmental System are maintained.
  • Adhering to the QMS of the business and maintain compliance to all customer quality requirements & AS9100.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar engineering workshop environment within the aerospace industry. You must have excellent attention to detail and be capable of maintaining exceptional high standards of process control in all aspects of quality.
