Quality Engineer, Poole, £65,000

Purpose

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall quality of manufactured product.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you will:

  • Perform root cause problem solving, analysis & reporting.
  • Ensure that ISO9001 & ISO14001 requirements and procedures are understood and adhered to.
  • Responsible for manufacturing quality related procedures and work methods are implemented and effective.
  • Management/Coordination of PPAP/ISIR/IMDS & New Product Launch Support.
  • Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
  • Perform risk assessment activities to identify product quality or compliance risks and lead efforts to mitigate those risks through Component Qualification and Process Validation.
  • Lead Quality Improvement projects as required to support business deliverables.
  • Participate in the internal & external auditing.
  • Management of the COSHH system.
  • Assist in promoting a quality aware culture throughout the business.

Background

The successful Quality Engineer will have:

  • Proven work experience in a similar quality role.
  • Must be familiar with ISO9100 & ISO14001.
  • Knowledge of the homologation process would be an advantage.
