As we endeavour to grow, we are recruiting for an Quality Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will join a company that values its stakeholders, whilst proudly contributing to the global defence market. We are renowned for the development and manufacture of innovative, bespoke Consoles, Racks and Enclosures, Display, ICCP (Signature Management) and Lighting Solutions

This role will be responsible for the verification and audit of the configuration status of equipment and review of supporting documentation. This includes the preparation and update of project quality documentation during the full project life cycle. Preparation for and running of acceptance activities including First Article Acceptance event and Factory Acceptance Testing.

We are ideally seeking someone who can demonstrate a proven record in:

Understanding customer contract and technical requirements and ensuring that these are met during the contract life cycle.

Examination of hardware to verify configuration status and conformity. The examination and interpretation of electronic data to verify configuration status.

Carrying out audits as required by contract.

Contributing to continuous improvement activities.

Personal attributes:

Attention to detail .

Ability to work independently.

Ability to read drawings and interpret contract documentation.

Ideally we are seeking a candidate who has Quality Assurance qualifications such as C&G 743, IQA A3 or Lead Assessor qualification or similar or qualified by experience.
