Service Engineer
Location: Field-based, from Poole officeSalary: £31,000 to £38,000
Role:Service, maintain, and troubleshoot fire, safety, and security systems, including small installation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers and provide clear reports.
- Work with the Team Manager to meet client needs.
- Service and maintain fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- Follow company policies for quality, health & safety, and false alarm management.
- Be available for 24-hour call-out shifts with the team.
- Occasionally assist with site surveys alongside installation engineers.
Requirements:
- Experience with fire, CCTV, and security systems, following industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Good communication skills for both reports and customer interactions.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Good organisational and IT skills.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
Desirable:
- CSCS card (or equivalent).
- Specific training related to the role.
Working Conditions:
- On-site work in various environments (indoor/outdoor).
- Possible night, weekend, or holiday work, and travel.
