The purpose of this role

As the Operations Officer you’ll be supporting the Head of Operations ensuring all clients vessels are reporting correctly as well as maintaining daily communication with the Captains ensuring the safety of the seafarer.

As Operations Officer you’ll be responsible for:

  • Responding to all emails and calls received by clients and captains
  • Following all client instructions
  • Carrying out daily tasks provided by line managers
  • Releasing CW alerts
  • Creating route risk reports
  • Maintaining and updating handover paperwork
  • Monitoring and logging any vessel reporting issues
  • Ensuring the CWD standard are maintained throughout the shift

Skills & Experience

  • Intermediate with Excel
  • High attention to detail
  • Desirable - Maritime background
  • Strong communication skills
