  • Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working in partnership with our well established, Engineering client on an exclusive basis. They are now looking for a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk to work within their busy Finance department supporting the finance team and being responsible for the purchase ledger function across the business as well as carrying out the 3 payment runs per month. This role will suit someone that has good attention to detail and understands the need for accuracy and can stick to month end deadlines.Training will be provided. The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for: - * Raising and following up invoice queries with suppliers. * Checking supplier statements against SAGE and requesting copy invoices. * Ownership and management of the Invoices and Delivery notes mailboxes. * Attaching invoices and delivery notes in SAGE. * Processing invoices. * Preparing and processing BACS runs. * Sending remittance advices to suppliers once payments have been made. * Tracking of Utilities monthly costs. * Any ad-hoc work as requested. Key Skills: * Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role. * Experience of using SAGE Line 50 desirable. * Good working knowledge of Excel. * Keen eye for detail with a professional and positive can-do attitude.
