Our client, an award-winning Property Consultancy, based in Poole, are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join them to work within their Building Surveying team, focusing on Residential, Commercial Healthcare, Mixed-Use, Office Space & Commercial, Technology, Transport and Leisure. The workstream will be a mix of both professional and project work across the region.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have graduated or be close to graduating in Building Surveying or similar (RICS accredited). This position is open to candidates that are fresh from university or have gained industry experience.

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Overview

  • Delivering projects, commissions, and professional assignments from inception to completion
  • Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects and liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
  • Assist with the managing of client/project teams to deliver building surveying services profitably and on time
  • Visit sites to undertake surveys, visit construction sites, meet with sub-contractors, contractors, clients and other staff as required to deliver projects.
  • Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Requirements

  • Graduated or be close to graduating in Building Surveying or similar (RICS accredited). Open to candidates with slightly more experience.
  • Full driving licence
  • Based in a commuting distance of Poole (or looking to relocate there)
  • Must be seeking a long-term role
  • Be keen to complete the APC process
