Hayley Group Limited has an exciting vacancy for a highly motivated Internal Sales person to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Hayley Poole branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

Hayley Group is the largest independent distributor of MRO engineering products and consumables (bearings, fasteners, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. We are an equal opportunities employer, currently employing over 1,000 people who continue to be a cornerstone of our business and are fundamental to providing industry-leading customer service.

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities as our Internal Sales will include:

Office Work

  • Processing Enquiries via E-mail & Telephone
  • Processing Orders
  • General Filing and Administration
  • Order Progressing
  • Serving on Trade Counter
  • Out of Hours Call Out Rota

Warehouse Work

  • Booking in/out deliveries
  • Stock Replenishment
  • Stock Taking
  • General Upkeep/Tidying
  • Customer deliveries & Stock Takes

Skills & Attributes we're looking for in our Internal Sales:

  • Knowledge of engineering product would be a distinct advantage
  • Willing and able to learn about and support new products
  • Proficient in basic computer applications
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills, numerate
  • Customer focused, driven to provide consistent high level of service
  • Flexible working approach to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Takes personal responsibility for timely and accurate fulfilment of customer’ requirements
  • Flexible, multi-tasking – willing to undertake additional tasks in order to meet customer requirements and to assist in other areas as may be required
  • Able to prioritise a varied workload to meet operational demands
  • Must be comfortable working as part of a team environment
  • Full UK driving licence
