Job Opportunity: CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator

Location: Poole, Dorset
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week
Shift: 7am/8am start - 4pm/5pm finish
Salary: Up to 21 per hour, depending on experience
Holidays: 25 days

About the Role:
We are seeking a fully skilled CNC Miller/Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team. If you have a strong engineering background and are proficient with CNC lathe machines, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC Milling and Turning Lathe machines with FANUC control systems to produce turned components based on customer drawings and specifications.
  • Produce both offline and online CNC programs; experience with Edgecam software/programming is advantageous but not essential.
  • Inspect your work to ensure it meets drawing and SPC requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of engineering ability and precision in all tasks.
  • Keep your work area to a high standard of 5C/5S.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller/Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator.
  • Familiarity with FANUC control systems.
  • Strong engineering skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and inspect your own work.
