Our well-established client service the Aerospace, Defence and Marine Sectors. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven CNC Mill Turner Programmer/ Setter/ Operator to join their growing team!

CNC Mill Turner Programmer/ Setter/ Operator Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC Mill/ Turn Lathe machines with FANUC operating control system to produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications
  • Producing offline and online CNC programs
  • Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
  • General high standard of engineering ability - fully skilled
  • Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S

The ideal CNC Mill Turner Programmer/ Setter/ Operator will:

  • Be adept with FANUC Controls
  • Have solid experience in the aerospace industry
  • Completed a recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge and experience of Edgecam software/programming (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed (desirable)
