Our well-established client service the Aerospace, Defence and Marine Sectors. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven CNC Mill Turner Programmer/ Setter/ Operator to join their growing team!
CNC Mill Turner Programmer/ Setter/ Operator Roles and Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC Mill/ Turn Lathe machines with FANUC operating control system to produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications
- Producing offline and online CNC programs
- Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
- General high standard of engineering ability - fully skilled
- Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S
The ideal CNC Mill Turner Programmer/ Setter/ Operator will:
- Be adept with FANUC Controls
- Have solid experience in the aerospace industry
- Completed a recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
- Knowledge and experience of Edgecam software/programming (desirable)
- Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed (desirable)
CNC Programmer Benefits & Way Of Working:
- Full Time, Permanent Position
- 8am - 5pm
