CNC Setter, Poole, £32,000

Purpose

As a CNC Setter on Fanuc, you will produce high-quality parts in line with production standards. Our client work on small batches, with a high focus on engineering. This opportunity is for someone with a good understand of machining to advance into programming.

As a CNC Setter, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operate, set and learn to programme CNC machines on Fanuc
  • Supporting production goals and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborating with the machine shop team to ensure smooth workflow and reporting any Health & Safety issues to the team leader
  • Actively engaging in training and skill development to progress in CNC programming and maintenance

As a CNC Setter, you will have:

  • Some experience in machining or a related engineering field, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of CNC and manual machine operation, with a willingness to learn programming and maintenance
  • The ability to read engineering drawings is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
