Our client are recruiting for a skilled CNC Sliding Head Machinist to join their growing team!
CNC Sliding Head Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set, operate and program CNC sliding head machines
- Complete components to a high standard, working from engineering drawings
- Create and edit CNC codes for turning machines
- Provide maintenance to machines, ensuring they’re running efficiently
- Complete in process and finished inspections on components
The ideal CNC Sliding Head Machinist will:
- Ability to select appropriate tooling for the materials required
- Be able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Be able to set, operate and program CNC Sliding Head Machines
- Have experience of quality checking components using precision measuring tools
