The role:

Are you a detail-oriented individual with proficiency in Excel? Do you have a knack for numbers and a passion for maintaining financial stability? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team as a Credit Controller!

  • Support the company's credit control process, managing and reducing the company's debtor's ledger.
  • Liaising with clients via telephone and email to recover dept
  • Monitor outstanding debts, ensuring timely payment and meeting payment targets.
  • Assess and implement effective credit control procedures to minimise the risk of non-payment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring all details are complete and in compliance with company policies.
  • Proactively communicate with customers, following up on outstanding debts and resolving any queries or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to streamline processes and enhance credit control efficiency.
  • Prepare financial reports and provide regular updates on debtors' balances and collection efforts to management.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar role, with a strong understanding of credit management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyse large data sets.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping and debt recovery.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks and delivering results.
