This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Credit Controller to join a successful retail team. In this role, you will have the responsibility of managing and collecting debts from company debtors, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, and reconciling invoices.

Description

Credit Controller:

  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
  • Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems.
  • Providing accounts information to internal departments.
  • Managing the sales ledger.
  • Ensuring that all major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle.
  • Daily and month end reporting.
  • Undertaking account reconciliations as required.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
