An exciting opportunity has become available for you to join a successful and growing SME business on the outskirts of Poole, Dorset.Following continuous growth, they are looking to appoint a Credit Controller to their finance team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working alongside another Credit Controller and reporting into the Finance Manager, offering a salary between £23,000 and £28,000 per annum.What will the Credit Controller role involve?

  • Chasing due payments via telephone maintaining a professional approach and continuing to build valuable customer relationships;
  • Ensuring any queries are resolved;
  • Daily bank statement downloads;
  • Raising of  invoices;
  • Dealing with internal sales;
  • Allocation of funds received;
  • As credit controller you will be setting credit limits for new and live accounts;
  • Credit checking new accounts and uploading on their bespoke systems and maintaining their accounts database.
  • Review of customer accounts to ensure maximising cash flow.

Suitable Candidate for the Credit Controller role:

  • Confident IT and Excel user, have experience in V-lookups and Pivot tables;
  • Previous debt management experience and credit control;
  • Highly organised and a proactive ‘can do’ mind-set;
  • A professional manner who can handle sensitive situations and resolve issues in a mature manner;
  • Work in a high volume environment.
