- Manage debts, resolve account queries, and build client relationships
- Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Monitor and control customer debts, prioritising cash flow and minimising risk.
- Evaluate new and existing accounts for creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit terms.
- Manage reconciliation tasks, including customer portals and integrations (EDI).
- Create and distribute account statements, overdue letters, and credit status reports.
- Collaborate closely with sales and finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Provide exceptional service while adhering to strict procedures.
- Credit control experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and accounting software.
- A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
