- Supporting the customer order fulfilment process and to be able to offer solutions when orders can not be fulfilled.
- Ensure that orders are fulfilled within agreed time frames and handle any associated queries or issues that arise, during the allocation and movement of stock.
- Respond to incoming calls and email queries relating to shipment, delivery, stock updates, or new order requirements etc
- Management of goods into the business, involving working with Purchasing to ensure goods will be in time for the required orders.
- Prepare relevant documentsin line with the requirements of exporting goods out of the UK
- Work closely with both the end customer, external transport / logistics companies, as well as the wider team, to ensure that the customer receives the best service at all times.
- Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential – You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have a professional manner and quickly understand the requirements of the customer.
