Our client, a leading and well-established fintech company is seeking a Customer Support Advisor to join their dynamic team. This role can be office based or remote with one a day a week in Poole.

To be successful in this Financial Customer Support Advisor role, an understanding and use of financial software and knowledge of customer support is a must. You will be providing financial software support while delivering exceptional customer solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to learn their software, manage incoming support requests, and respond to user inquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound support tickets via phone and email, addressing both technical and non-technical issues
  • Gather information, identify root causes and devise solutions to resolve queries
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure quick ticket resolutions
  • Escalate issues and risks when necessary
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and third-party organisations
  • Continuously develop your understanding of the business and its software to better support key activities
  • Assist customers with reconciling debtors and creditors
  • Provide support with VAT returns, financial statements and bank reconciliations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong financial/accounts background - essential for providing high-quality customer solutions
  • Good working knowledge of IT software, particularly financial/accounting systems, essential
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised, methodical, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Financial/accounts qualifications, advantageous
