Works Manager – Ship Repair, Poole

As a Works Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and monitoring production staff to maintain quality and safety standards
- Managing project budgets, materials and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Building strong client relationships, attending meetings, and resolving technical queries
- Overseeing contractors and subcontractors on assigned projects
- Ensuring compliance with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) procedures and company policies
- Support Ship refurbishments
As a Works Manager, your skills and experience will include:
- Ship repair experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications
- Previous experience leading and supervising teams, ensuring high work standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for project planning and communication
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with clients and teams effectively
A valid UK driving licence and a willingness to travel when required are essential for this role.
