Job Title: EYFS Support Assistant

Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in creating a stimulating and safe learning environment for children aged 1 to 5 years
- Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through age-appropriate activities and play
- Work with small groups or individual children to provide additional support and guidance as needed
- Help maintain a tidy and organised classroom, preparing resources and materials for daily activities
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a nurturing and inclusive learning community.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with young children, ideally within an early years setting
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a desire to contribute to children's development
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and adults
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and its principles
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the classroom.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 2 Early Years qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo one
- Valid references from previous employers
